December 13, 2017 | II ODDH Meeting: Call for papers until september 30

The Disability and Human Rights Observatory (Observatório da Deficiência e Direitos Humanos – ODDH) holds its II Meeting on december 13, 2017, at the Institute of Social and Political Sciences, University of Lisbon (ISCSP-ULisboa). On the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the adoption of United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), this Meeting is intended to promote a wider discussion on the development of human rights of persons with disabilities in Portugal, involving the disability movement, policy makers and researchers.

Disability Studies in Portugal – Call for Participation

In order to promote the study field of Disability Studies in Portugal, and to foster the exchange and availability of new knowledge on this emerging field in the nation scientific scene, ODDH invites researchers to submit abstracts - for oral communication or poster - until September 30 to This email address is being protected from spambots.
